LHH is working with a partner in banking in Baltimore for a Home Equity Processor for a six month contract.
The Home Equity Processor plays a vital role in assisting members through the loan process, ensuring they gain access to their funds efficiently. This position is essential in delivering high-quality service and support to credit union partners and their members. ### **Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct thorough reviews of loan documents, including income verification, title reports, and appraisal assessments, ensuring all necessary conditions are met.
- Maintain ongoing communication with members, providing updates and setting expectations throughout the loan process.
- Educate members on Home Equity products and respond to inquiries with clarity and professionalism.
- Utilize internal reports and dashboards to track progress, maintain service levels, and complete daily tasks effectively.
### **Qualifications & Skills:**
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in finance processing, preferably within real estate lending.
- Proficiency in analyzing personal and business tax returns, including the calculation of variable income.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on member satisfaction.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy.
