We are looking for a motivated HR Assistant to join our team and help support our valued employees. As an HR Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our HR department assisting with payroll, onboarding, and maintaining employee records. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.

Start Date: 8/1/2025
Office Hours: M-F, 8:30 AM - 5 PM (However start time is flexible)

Responsibilities:

• Payroll Management: Assist in processing payroll accurately and timely using Paylocity, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
• On boarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including document preparation, orientation coordination, and training support.
• Record Keeping: Maintain organized employee files and records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal standards.
• Employee Support: Server as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, payroll issues, and benefits.
• HR Administration: Assist with various HR administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and report generation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with restaurant management and staff to foster a positive work environment and resolve any HR-related issues.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an HR Assistant or in a related role, preferably in the restaurant industry.
• Experience with Paylocity or similar platform is required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with Toast POS System is a plus but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Basic understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
• Bilingual - English and Spanish is required.
