Summary: Better Hospitality Group is seeking an Events & Social Media Manager to support our dynamic and fast-growing team. As the Events & Social Media Manager, your role will focus on two core areas: Events and Social Media. Your Events-related tasks will be to manage all event calendars for all BHG venues. This will include booking private and semi-private events, addressing all incoming event inquiries, and coordinating with interested parties to confirm bookings. Your events responsibilities will includes serving as a liaison between party hosts and venue management staff, assisting with BHG Corporate event planning, collecting event deposits, and drafting party package options for full-venue buyouts. You will walk potential hosts through dates, times, and spaces available and answer any questions regarding special requests. You will work closely with members of the BHG team to ensure staff is up to speed to appropriately accommodate all confirmed bookings. Your social media-related tasks will include managing all social media accounts for BHG’s operating group and all BHG venues with an emphasis on Instagram and TikTok. You will function as a liaison between venue managers and social media to advertise specials, events, and new menus, at the direction of the venue manager. You will assist in ordering decorations for holidays and special events to create social media-worthy photo opportunities. We are seeking someone with strong communication abilities, a knack for customer service, and excellent time management skills. This role is a hybrid position; DMV-based candidates only. Your normal weekly schedule will be working in-person at our venues 3 days per week and working remotely 2 days per week. What You Will be Doing: Manage private and semi-private event bookings across all BHG venues, as well as internal BHG-organized events Serve as the primary point of contact for party hosts, presenting available options and finalizing key event details such as headcount, date, time, and reserved space; conduct on-site meetings when needed Address host questions and concerns promptly, coordinating with internal teams to fulfill special requests when possible Oversee and maintain event calendars for all BHG venues, ensuring bookings are strategically scheduled to support overall business goals Draft customized party packages and contracts for full-venue buyouts and large-scale events Confirm event staffing requirements with BHG management to ensure adequate coverage Manage and publish all social media content for each venue, with a focus on Instagram and TikTok Collaborate with venue managers to promote specials, upcoming events, and new menu offerings through social channels Maintain a consistent posting schedule, with weekly updates on Instagram and TikTok Capture and curate additional content to enhance each venue’s social media presence What We Are Looking For: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor across email and phone Proven organizational abilities to manage availability and bookings across multiple venue calendars Strong time management skills, with the ability to respond to inquiries promptly and efficiently Team-oriented mindset, working collaboratively to ensure BHG staff are informed and prepared for upcoming events No prior event coordination experience required Compensation and Benefits: $85,000 Base Salary Health Insurance coverage after 90 days 401(k) eligibility after 9 months Cell Phone plan reimbursement Paid Time Off and Sick Leave Performance-based bonus potential of $15,000 annually More detail about Better Hospitality Group part of Better Hospitality Group, please visit #J-18808-Ljbffr
