Job Description

Hellas, Inc., the #1 Sports Construction company in North America, is seeking a highly skilled and creative Videographer & Photographer to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a vital role in capturing, producing, and editing high-quality visual content that showcases our projects, people, and brand story - from NFL stadiums to community fields and everywhere in between.

Headquartered in Cedar Park, TX, Hellas is the largest sports construction contractor in the United States. Specializing in the general construction of sports facilities and synthetic surfaces, Hellas also champions innovative artificial turf manufacturing, base construction, and the planning, installation, and maintenance of fields, tracks, and tennis courts. Hellas is the only fully integrated sports construction company, controlling all business operations to deliver its products directly to the end-user, including marketing, sales, quality control, project management, maintenance, and warranty.

The ideal candidate is FAA drone certified , has a strong eye for visual storytelling, and is experienced in creating both promotional and documentary-style content. You will be responsible for traveling across the U.S. to capture photo and video footage of construction projects from groundbreaking to ribbon-cutting and translating those visuals into compelling content for marketing, social media, public relations, and internal communications.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Capture high-quality video and photography of construction projects, employees, and events nationwide, often in active jobsite environments.
  • Operate drones (FAA certified) for aerial videography and photography.
  • Work cross-functionally with departments such as Marketing, Project Management, Safety, Design, Social Media, and Business Development to align on content needs and messaging.
  • Edit and produce short-form and long-form videos for use across web, social media, trade shows, and internal platforms.
  • Write and coordinate press releases and media communications related to project milestones, company events, and industry achievements.
  • Archive, organize, and maintain digital assets for internal and external use.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand standards and company messaging.
  • Scout shoot locations and coordinate production logistics while adhering to project timelines and safety requirements.
  • Manage and coordinate regional photography and videography contractors to capture high-quality visuals of projects, ensuring brand consistency and timely delivery across multiple territories.
  • Capture and document progress over time, including milestone photography (e.g., groundbreaking, installation phases, completion).
  • Contribute to strategic content planning and campaign execution in collaboration with the creative and marketing teams.
  • Maintain and manage video, photo, and drone equipment to ensure high-quality output.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in videography and photography.
  • FAA Part 107 Drone Certification required.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility in commercial, promotional, and documentary content.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator).
  • Experience writing press releases and working with media outlets.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 60–75% of the time nationwide.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and adapt to dynamic environments.
  • Familiarity with construction sites and/or sports facilities a plus.
  • Experience in the sports, sports surfacing, or construction industry is highly desirable.
  • Comfortable working in outdoor and sometimes rugged field conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Film, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience producing content in the sports, construction, or sports surfacing industries.
  • Knowledge of video marketing best practices for social media platforms.
  • Basic motion graphics and animation experience.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
