Job Description

Job Summary

The Training Specialist ensures compliance with GxP and regulatory training standards by effectively administering the organization’s Learning Management System (LMS). This role supports manufacturing and support groups through training coordination, reporting, system optimization, and process improvement initiatives. The Training Specialist plays a key role in maintaining training data integrity and supporting audits and inspections.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain the LMS, including curricula setup, user assignments, and data entry
  • Generate and deliver training reports to support audits and inspections
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to design and implement effective training curricula
  • Provide customer support and technical assistance for LMS users
  • Participate in internal and external audits to ensure training documentation readiness
  • Identify and lead process improvement initiatives for training systems and programs
  • Support the transition to a paperless credit system and other departmental projects
  • Assist with training logistics and deliver training sessions as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred (Biological Sciences a plus)
  • 4–6 years of professional training experience
  • 2–4 years of experience in a regulated environment (e.g., biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device)
  • Proficient in LMS administration, ideally ComplianceWire
  • Experience supporting technical processes in life sciences or similar industries
  • Instructional design knowledge and ability to interpret technical documentation
