The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically and/or Internationally depending on business needs.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Resolves cross-functional technical issuesKnowledge of various engineering disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, and systems. The ability to communicate with technical personnel from multiple skill areas and functions to evaluate technical information and issues impacting design, production, and support of products, services, or other deliverablesKnowledge of responsibilities and tasks performed by various Engineering departments/disciplines (e.g., design, test, software, technology, avionics). Knowledge of the interaction between departments/disciplines and how their products/processes affect one another and impact non-engineering processes (e.g., Operations, Logistics, Business)Knowledge and understanding of the methodology and processes associated with risk management, conducting trade studies including cost as an independent variable (CAIV) tradesAdvanced knowledge of modeling techniques (e.g., mathematical modeling, simulation, design of experiments, operations research) to analyze a systemAdvanced knowledge of design concepts and techniques (e.g., concurrent engineering, Design for Manufacture/Assembly [DFM/A])Typical Education/Experience: Experienced, Level 3Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.
