Job Description

Revelyst Adventure Sports Group is looking for a skilled and collaborative Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer to join our engineering team as a contractor. This is an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects, including an SFRA upgrade and the implementation of cutting-edge third-party cartridges, while contributing to a global e-commerce platform that serves adventure enthusiasts worldwide. If you’re a problem solver with a big-picture mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment, we want to hear from you!

This 90-day contract (with potential for extension) offers the chance to work closely with our in-house team, applying your technical expertise while building strong collaborative relationships.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who brings not only technical skills but also the right mindset to succeed in a dynamic, fast-paced environment:

Team-Oriented Collaborator

  • Works seamlessly as an extension of our team, proactively sharing updates and insights.
  • Welcomes feedback and integrates it into implementation plans.
  • Partners effectively with UX designers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs.

Big-Picture Problem Solver

  • Thinks beyond immediate tasks to consider how solutions impact overall system architecture and user experience.
  • Documents technical decisions thoughtfully for long-term maintainability.
  • Tackles integration challenges creatively and strategically.

Clear Communicator

  • Explains complex technical concepts in ways that resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Contributes to solution design discussions by articulating trade-offs and options clearly.
  • Produces documentation that supports team members at all levels of expertise.

What You’ll Do

As an SFCC Developer, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality solutions that elevate Revelyst’s digital presence:

  • Implement SFRA upgrade requirements while maintaining site functionality and adhering to coding standards.
  • Integrate third-party cartridges into the SFRA architecture for tools such as SAP OMS, Klaviyo, and marketing platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design error handling and ensure seamless integration performance.
  • Contribute to solution design sessions, offering technical insights that align with business goals.
  • Use AI-assisted tools like Cursor (preferred but not required) to streamline development processes and improve efficiency.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone with both the technical expertise and the interpersonal skills needed to succeed in this role:

Technical Requirements:

  • 2+ years of hands-on Salesforce Commerce Cloud development experience (SFRA required).
  • Strong skills in JavaScript (ES5/6), ISML templating, and cartridge dependency management.
  • Experience implementing integrations with systems like SAP OMS, Klaviyo, or other marketing platforms.
  • Familiarity with GIT workflows and CI tools.

Team Fit Essentials:

  • A proven ability to quickly adopt existing code conventions and processes.
  • Examples of successful collaboration in remote or hybrid team environments.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving that considers both immediate needs and long-term impacts.
  • Interest in leveraging AI coding tools like Cursor or GitHub Copilot for productivity gains (preferred).

Work Structure

This is a 90-day contract , requiring 30-40 hours per week with at least 25 hours overlapping Pacific Time Zone business hours. You’ll need your own development environment and must be comfortable working within agile workflows using tools like Jira and Confluence.

This role is perfect for someone who wants to make an impact by solving complex challenges while working collaboratively within a supportive team environment. If you’re passionate about e-commerce innovation and enjoy working on projects that combine cutting-edge technology with real-world results, we’d love for you to join us!
