Job Description
We are currently looking for a Full Time Medical Family Therapist to join our Medical Family Therapy Team C team located at the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center.

*Responsibilities:*
* Provides family, couple, individual and group therapies as needed
* Implements empirically validated measurements into therapeutic practice to assess for client progress in therapy and to measure overall therapeutic effectiveness with clients
* Assists in ongoing initiatives to build and maintain referrals for services
* Conducts diagnostic screenings and assessments
* Utilizes an electronic health record keeping system to complete progress notes, treatment plans and other therapy-related materials to document appropriate legal and ethical standards of therapeutic services are upheld
* Provides clinical mental health consultations and brief interventions for patients served at the request of physicians, medical providers, mental health clinicians and other service providers
* Provides crisis intervention as needed during regular work hours and for medical family therapists working at CNMC, crisis intervention services are provided by rotation after work hours with an expected 20-minute call back response time
* Maintains an active full-time panel and caseload of billable services, engages in therapy-related activities and contributes to program development
* Maintains files, logs, and records
* Prepares reports as needed or requested
* Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities
* Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types
* Maintains general upkeep of work area and maintains a safe environment
* Maintains and promotes professionalism
* Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics
* Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards
* Maintains knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.

* Learn and apply HIPAA, Privacy Act, Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA), Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA), Freedom of Information Act, Compliance Standards, Joint Commission Accreditation, and other various regulations
* Knowledge of relevant privacy regulations such as The Privacy Act, Freedom of Information Act and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
* Knowledge and understanding of First American populations
* Must be proficient in the use of electronic health record keeping systems
* Works well within a team
* Organizational and time-management
* Able to verbally communicate in a professional and positive manner with other team members, departments, guests and management
