Job Description

Overview: Our client, an award-winning high-end design and custom home builder, is seeking an Licensed Interior Designer to join their design team on a full-time, permanent basis, supporting their growing pipeline of custom home projects.

Duties

• Develop accurate, to-scale interior drawings that reflect the intended spatial layout and design concept.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of materials, color theory, balance, and spatial relationships and effectively communicate these design elements to clients, internal teams, and external partners.
• Generate multiple creative design concepts, translate them into sketches or digital visuals, and present them clearly and confidently to clients for feedback and approval.
• Collaborate closely with architects, project managers, vendors, and trade partners to ensure alignment and understanding across all stakeholders, from concept through execution.
• Convert design concepts into digital formats compatible with our web-based project management system, ensuring accessibility and visibility for the full project team.
• Adhere to project timelines, consistently meeting key milestones and delivery deadlines.

Requirements

• NCIDQ Licensed Interior Designer and board certified in Texas.
• Bachelors degree in a relevant field
• 3-5 years experience minimum
• Prior experience on new construction and remodeling is preferred.
