What will your role be?

The HRIS Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of HRIS-related projects. The ideal candidate will have experience managing HRIS projects, including payroll implementations, upgrades, and optimizations, ensuring alignment with business objectives. This role requires strong project management skills, deep knowledge of payroll processes, and the ability to work with technical and business stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.

Activities:

  • Coordinate and execute HRIS data change activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance across payroll, organizational structures, and employee records
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, and Data Privacy teams to gather and analyze data requirements for change initiatives
  • Act as the primary analyst for HRIS data changes related to payroll updates, reorganizations, mergers/acquisitions, and system enhancements
  • Review, validate, and update master data elements (e.g., job codes, pay grades, cost centers) in alignment with business rules
  • Perform data audits, identify anomalies or gaps, and ensure corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner
  • Support configuration and testing of HRIS changes to validate data integrity during implementation cycles
  • Develop and maintain documentation on data change processes, decision logs, and data quality controls
  • Train HR team members on data input standards and audit processes to promote accurate and consistent HRIS data usage
  • Stay current on HRIS and payroll data best practices to continuously improve data management processes
  • Identify and address risks associated with data quality and change activities, ensuring alignment with compliance and audit standards

What skills and qualifications are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field
  • Proven experience in HRIS data management, with a focus on payroll and employee lifecycle data
  • Strong understanding of HR and payroll data structures, compliance requirements, and data governance practices
  • Demonstrated ability to manage data changes in HRIS platforms
  • Skilled in performing data audits, reconciliations, and validations
  • Experience supporting HRIS testing efforts, including test case creation, execution, and defect tracking
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive HR data
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and provide actionable insights
  • Excellent communication skills to work cross-functionally with HR, IT, and business leaders
  • Ability to manage multiple data tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
