Candidates expected to be on-site 2-3 days per week.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HRIS Analyst to join our HR team. This role is responsible for the ongoing support, configuration, optimization, and data integrity of our PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) system, directly supporting HR, Payroll, and Benefits operations. The ideal candidate possesses deep functional knowledge of HR/Payroll/Benefits processes combined with strong technical proficiency in PeopleSoft HCM, SQL, and SQR to perform daily operational tasks, troubleshoot issues, generate reports, and implement system enhancements. This is a hands-on role focused on maximizing the effectiveness and efficiency of our PeopleSoft HCM platform for core HR functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot PeopleSoft HCM modules, including Core HR, Payroll (e.g., Payroll for North America), Base Benefits, and Benefits Administration, ensuring alignment with business processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, and Benefits specialists to understand operational needs, analyze issues, and implement effective solutions within the PeopleSoft system.
  • Utilize SQR and SQL extensively for complex data analysis, operational reporting (standard and ad-hoc), data auditing, troubleshooting calculations/processes, and supporting data conversion or interface activities.
  • Provide direct system support for key HR/Payroll/Benefits processes, such as payroll cycles, benefits open enrollment periods, compliance reporting, and year-end activities (e.g., W2 processing).
  • Perform regular data audits and implement measures to ensure data integrity and accuracy within the PeopleSoft HCM database.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation , including configuration guides, process flows specific to HR/Payroll/Benefits operations, and end-user procedures.
  • Lead or participate in the testing and implementation of PeopleSoft patches, upgrades, fixes, and new configurations related to HCM modules.
  • Analyze system capabilities and recommend process improvements or system enhancements to optimize HR, Payroll, and Benefits operations.
  • Act as a key resource for HCM system-related projects , contributing functional and technical expertise.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) working as an HRIS Analyst, Payroll Systems Analyst, Benefits Systems Analyst, or similar hands-on role supporting HR/Payroll/Benefits functions within an ERP environment, preferably PeopleSoft.
  • Strong functional knowledge of HR, Payroll, and Benefits business processes, regulations (e.g., FLSA, tax withholding), and data requirements.
  • Hands-on experience configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting PeopleSoft HCM modules, specifically Core HR, Payroll (preferably Payroll for North America), and Benefits Administration/Base Benefits.
  • Strong proficiency in writing and executing complex SQL queries for data retrieval, analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting against relational databases (preferably Oracle).
  • Working knowledge of and practical experience with SQR for reporting and/or process execution, ideally within an HCM context.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail, applied directly to system issues and operational needs.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively explain technical concepts to functional users within HR/Payroll/Benefits.
  • Experience in documenting system configurations and operational processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other PeopleSoft HCM modules such as Absence Management or Talent Acquisition Management (TAM).
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Query Manager and BI Publisher for report development.
  • Deep experience with PeopleSoft configuration related to earnings codes, deduction codes, benefit plans, payroll accumulators, etc.
  • Experience supporting integrations between PeopleSoft HCM and third-party vendors (e.g., benefits providers).
  • Experience leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for HCM functionality.
