LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a motivated and organized Human Resources Assistant to join our client in the Kansas City Metro. As a Human Resources Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the HR department, ensuring smooth execution of HR processes including benefits administration, onboarding, compliance, and employee recordkeeping. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about supporting people operations. Responsibilities: Assist with day-to-day HR operations and provide clerical and administrative support to HR staff. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS systems. Support benefit administration processes, including enrollment, documentation, and employee inquiries. Coordinate and schedule interviews, onboarding sessions, and training programs. Prepare HR documents such as employment contracts, new hire guides, and compliance reports. Assist with payroll data entry and time-off tracking, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Help manage internal communications and respond to employee questions regarding HR policies and procedures. Participate in HR projects such as employee engagement initiatives, audits, and process improvements. Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or HR support role. Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP Workforce Now) is highly desirable Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
