Job Description

NeoXam Impress is an agile SaaS based digital reporting application that allows Asset and Wealth managers the ability to generate large volumes of reports, including but not limited to Factsheets, KIIDs and Quarterly Reports, in an efficient and value-added way that reduces production cycles, validates data quality and improves brand image.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Full Stack Developer will use NeoXam Impress technical configuration expertise to provide software implementation guidance and support to our clients, and work closely with the global R&D engineering team to further develop the product.

The ideal candidate for this position will have at least 3 years of experience working as a financial software developer or in the financial industry with dual capabilities in software technology and finance. This full-time position will be based out of our New York office with remote work flexibility.

MISSION & MAIN ACTIVITIES

  • NeoXam Impress product design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Participate in NeoXam Impress implementations at some of the world's leading and most respected financial organizations.
  • Build interfaces, data streams, and architecture to deliver the best user experience for our customers.
  • Implement the software by carrying out NeoXam software customization, workflow definition and optimization using NeoXam's cutting edge technology platform.
  • Provide support in troubleshooting, identifying, and resolving any installation and implementation problems to the client's satisfaction within established time frames.
  • Ensure coordination and responsive follow-up to client needs and requirements, interfacing with the appropriate NeoXam departments and colleagues as needed.
  • Design and develop in-house modules/functionality on NeoXam Impress and other internal processes as needed.
  • Develop and conduct product training workshops for clients when necessary.
  • Participate in client support efforts.
  • Assist with presales initiatives as needed.
  • Provide individual task reporting to Project Manager, NeoXam management and/or clients upon request.
  • Contribute to project management.
  • Continuously keep up to date with NeoXam Impress functional and technical features and improvements.

PROFILE

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related area. (Master's degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience developing software (financial software development experience preferable)
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in software implementation and/or support
  • Experience in a Data Science role desirable, but not required.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience developing software using the following tech stack:
  • JavaScript and Python required.
  • Pandas Python Library, Vue.js, Node.js and its graphical libraries are a huge plus.
  • MSSQL/Oracle/PostgreSQL databases
  • AWS and Azure cloud computing platforms knowledge.
  • Java desirable, but not required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of financial markets, securities, principles, and practices
  • Ability to work independently and also driven to be a strong team contributor.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in English
  • Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to multi-task.
  • Occasional to frequent travel is required.
