The Director of Talent Acquisition will be responsible for all aspects of talent acquisition from designing recruiting strategy to effectively building and managing relationships with stakeholders and executives. This role provides leadership while inspiring the recruitment team and operations ultimately achieving headcount targets and all key performance indicators (KPIs).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with the company’s business goals and culture.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the talent acquisition team to deliver consistent, high-quality hiring results across all departments and levels.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership, department heads, and HR business partners to forecast hiring needs and define recruiting priorities.
  • Navigate complex interpersonal dynamics with political finesse, building trust and credibility with senior leaders, including challenging stakeholders, to drive alignment and results.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and analytics to assess the effectiveness of recruitment efforts and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the development and optimization of employer branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice.
  • Manage relationships with third-party agencies, job boards, and recruitment platforms.
  • Maintain efficient recruitment tools and systems (e.g., Applicant Tracking System (ATS)) to streamline hiring processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to recruitment an employment.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience regularly interfacing and communicating with executive leaders up to the C-suite.
  • A valid driver’s license may be required, along with a driving record that meets the requirements of the company’s insurance provider.

  • Demonstrated success in scaling hiring in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong understanding of recruiting metrics, sourcing techniques, and employment laws.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HR technologies, and data-driven recruiting.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Adept at navigating organizational complexity and engaging senior stakeholders with strategic insight, sound judgment, and clear communication.
  • Brings a steady, professional approach to building credibility and alignment—even in high-stakes or challenging interpersonal dynamics.
  • Proven track record of hiring at scale, building systemic solutions that support enterprise growth, and automating and innovating.
  • Ability to own the outcome, demonstrate excellence with growth mindset.
  • Ability to be a trusted advisor and a strong partner and coach for hiring managers and executives.
  • Travel required, up to 20% at times, based on business needs.
