Base pay range $42.00/hr - $48.00/hr Direct message the job poster from Encore Talent Solutions Senior Information Technology Recruiter at Encore Talent Solutions/Sports Junkie Business Intelligence Analyst – Accounting Systems Support A leading law firm is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to support its Accounting team across several office locations including Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, Denver, Detroit, Indianapolis, or Minneapolis. This role focuses on enhancing, customizing, and maintaining the firm’s Accounting systems and Business Intelligence/reporting tools. The analyst will work across various platforms to deliver actionable data insights, support financial systems, and maintain operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Serve as a primary support resource for LMS application modules and related systems; respond to inquiries and troubleshoot issues from stakeholders. Design, maintain, and distribute SQL and Excel-based monthly reporting packages. Handle ad-hoc data requests by creating SQL views and scripts; design reports and interpret results. Support data preparation for the annual Partner Participation compensation process. Ensure efficient report design and eliminate redundancies across reporting tools. Manage LMS database security settings and user access. Collaborate with billing and finance staff to support rate management and electronic billing configurations. Maintain internal controls and thorough documentation for audits. Support all financial systems; coordinate with software vendors or IT as needed. Apply systems knowledge to assist accounting team in daily operations. Analyze and clean large data sets to ensure accuracy and relevance. Communicate findings and provide support to both technical and non-technical stakeholders professionally. Required Qualifications: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to handle complex financial data. Customer service mindset with a collaborative approach across departments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage all levels of the organization. Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under deadlines. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team. Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience. Proficiency in accounting systems, financial reporting, and SQL-based queries. Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query, pivot tables, macros, and visualization tools. Experience in a professional services or law firm environment is preferred.
